A very collectable 18th century oval bead bright cut engraved teapot with scroll handle. The body has an upper and lower band of decorative bright cut engraving. The teapot has a bright cut engraved oval cartouche on either side with one bearing the initials AEM entwined. The lid of the teapot is hinged and is also beautifully bright cut engraved. The finial and handle are ivory.
