Description
A wonderful early 18th century cup and cover, elegantly  plain formed in design and decorated with a central girdle above which sits a stylish contemporary hand engraved armorial (probably made for the Reverend Gervas Holmes of Wigtoft and Brickars Lincolnshire 1607-1775 or 1777/8).  The detachable lid is domed and crowned with a beautiful finial.
