A truly elegant early Victorian christening mug, beautifully floral chased throughout which is set on a matted background for highlights, the centre front and behind the handle have elegantly shaped cartouches. Â The handle is scroll formed and decorated with a delightful acanthus leaf thumb piece. Â The inside of the bowl has been gilded.
