A wonderful early Georgian silver coffee pot designed with an elegant plain formed tapering body and a stylish scroll formed fruitwood handle. The hinged lid is beautifully domed and the coffee pot has a fabulous swan necked spout. There is a delightful hand engraved contemporary (arms are in one of the forms used by unmarried ladies – oval suspended from a love knot: MacPherson of Cluny.. Crest is probably that of Crosier) armorial.
