A truly fine piece of craftsmanship made by the highly renowned Peter Archambo.

 

Description

A truly important and incredibly fine 18th century oval silver soup tureen made by the highly renowned Peter Archambo.  The body has sumptuously beautiful applied ‘rococo’ cartouches and elegant cast ‘drop’ hinged handles.  The detachable lid has has additional rococo decoration and is mounted with a stylish ‘eagle’ finial.  There are contemporary hand engraved crests for importance.
