A stylish and extremely rare pair of 18th century old Sheffield tapersticks. The filled bases are square in design and have been decorated with a lower gadroon border and ornate mouldings on the angles. The stunning stems are bamboo in design and mounted with a beautiful capital which is then crowned with a shaped circular nozzle.

Condition: Very good. Slight bleeding of base metal on the highlights. Marked 29 in a diamond lozenge.
