A fabulous pair of Georgian silver candlesticks made by John Carter London 1771.

Description

An elegant pair of Georgian silver square base candlesticks decorated with elegant bead borders, hanging floral garlands and wreath mounted rosettes.  The tubular stems are plain formed and mounted with a stylish capital.  There are beautiful contemporary hand engraved crests for importance.

 

Height:  12.5 inches/31.75cm

Width:  5.1 inches/13cm (base)

Condition:  Excellent throughout

Note:  The bases are filled.  London assayed but Sheffield produced.
