A very rare and extremely collectable Peter & Jonathan Bateman oval swing handled sugar basket. The centre front and back of the body has elegant oval bright cut engraved cartouches and the upper rim of the bowl has additional intricate bright cut engraving for highlights. There is a single contemporary crest for importance.
