A fine and incredibly important Georgian soup tureen.



A truly magnificent oval soup tureen decorated with a gadroon upper border with interspaced floral motifs for highlights.  The sumptuous body has two stylishly designed applied cartouches in which sits elegant contemporary armorials for importance.  The four highly unusual cast ball and claw feet round off an outstanding piece of craftsmanship.  The loded decorated domed detachable cover has beautiful crests for added importance.
