Early 20th Century Suite of Three Sterling Silver George V Dishes/Comports Sheffield 1918/19 James Dixon & Sons

Description

A stunningly beautiful suite of three circular dishes, compromising of a large central dish and two side dishes.  There is a central matt band with ornate designs for decoration on the upper body of the bowls and the border of the bowls are shaped shell and gadroon for highlights.  Either side are elegant serpentine handles for added decoration.  The dishes sit on a two band gadroon raised pedestal column and have decorative claw feet for lowlights.
