Description

A truly impressive sterling silver oval entree dish and cover made by the renowned silversmith John S Hunt.  The detachable lid is superbly decorated with incredibly ornate hand chasing which alternate plain formed panels for decorative contrast.  The base has a delightful egg & tongue (style) border.  There are contemporary applied armorials and crests respectively alternating within the ornate panels.
