A magnificent mid 19th century silver gilt christening mug decorated with beautiful scenes of cherubs picking grapes from a climbing vine shrub which is then set on a matt background for decorative contrast.  The mug has a stunning cast naturalistic handle with an outstanding “relaxing figural” thumb piece for design focusing highlights.
