Description

Elizabeth II silver desk tray and quill/pen holder, crafted by the prestigious royal silversmiths Garrard & Co Ltd.  The minimalist, shallow rectangular tray with clean, raised tapering borders designed to serve as a functional pen tray or accessory tray.  The pen holder mechanism positioned on the right side of the tray, cylindrical swivel socket designed to hold a classic desk pen/quill securely at an angle.  The original engraving on the left side features a beautifully engraved armorial which belongs to The Worshipful Company of Gardeners of London, a prominent and historic City livery company first mentioned in the civic records in 1345.
