A very elegant pair of Old Sheffield Plate sauce tureens sitting on four acanthus leaf feet.

Description

A very elegant pair of Old Sheffield Plate sauce tureens sitting on four acanthus leaf feet.  The tureens have a very sharp applied gadroon border for decorative highlights.  The lids are detachable and are crowned with additional stylish acanthus leaf handle.  The tureen have a contemporary central crest beautiful hand engraved onto a silver shield for importance.

 

Length:  9 inches/23cm (back of handle to back of opposite handle)

Height:  6.5 inches/16.5cm (foot to top of lid handle)

Depth:  5 inches/12.25cm

Condition:  Excellent throughout.
