A rare pair of large circular shaped edged Victorian silver dishes.

 

Description

A rare pair of large circular shaped edged Victorian silver dishes decorated with elegant floral chasing which alternates between flowing bead decoration for highlights.  The insides are beautifully gilt and the dishes have contemporary armorials (arms shows the marshalled arms of Wilkinson, orignally of Harpley and Kyo, county Durham) for importance.

Diameter:  9 inches/23cm

Condition:  Very good.  Slight time aged wear to the centre front gilding on one dish.
