A very elegant 18th century tapered half pint mug with a double scroll handle.  The base is slightly tucked above the cast applied spreading foot.  The center front has an elegant contemporary armorial for importance.

 

Description

This elegant antique early Georgian half pint mug combines classic historic charm designed with a sturdy cylindrical tapered body which is anchored by a substantial stepped flared base for excellent stability.  The sweeping S-scroll handle fitted with a subtle thumb rest and a decorative bottom spur for a secure hold.  The original Armorial represents an alliance coat of arms signalling a marriage between two families expertly engraved onto the silver surface.
