A large and incredibly fine mid 18th century quart sterling silver baluster tankard and cover decorated with ornate Victorian era floral hand chasing throughout. Â The domed lid is hinged and has an elegant cast wire thumbpiece. Â The centre front has an elaborate cartouche in which sits a contemporary engraved armorial for importance.
